A Dedicated WorkCover & CTP Referral Partner for GPs
It's all we do.
WorkCover Hub exclusively manages WorkCover and CTP cases — Certificates of Capacity, insurer correspondence, treatment approvals, allied health coordination, and return-to-work planning. Refer a patient and we handle the rest.
WorkCover Cases Take More Time Than They Should
Insurer correspondence, Certificates of Capacity, treatment approvals, return-to-work plans — it adds up. More GPs across NSW are choosing to refer these cases to a dedicated provider.
“I don’t have time to deal with the insurer back-and-forth.”
Every Certificate of Capacity renewal, every request for further information — it adds up. For a standard GP consult, you’re often doing 30 minutes of work for 10 minutes of reimbursement.
“I’m not sure I’m completing the paperwork correctly.”
A vague or incomplete Certificate of Capacity is one of the most common reasons claims get delayed or disputed. Insurers look for specific clinical language that most GPs haven’t been trained to provide.
“The patient needs more than I can coordinate from here.”
WorkCover and CTP patients often need a mix of physiotherapy, psychology, specialist referrals, and workplace rehabilitation — all with specific insurer approvals.
None of this is a reflection of your capability as a clinician. It's a reflection of a system that's complicated, admin-heavy, and not designed for general practice to manage efficiently.
We Take Over the Entire Claims Pathway
When you refer a patient, our team manages every aspect of their WorkCover or CTP claim. You get your consult time back.
What we manage
Our team
You remain the patient's GP. We only manage the claims-related care — assessment, documentation, insurer liaison, and allied health coordination.

Better Outcomes for Your Patient
This isn't just about reducing your admin. It genuinely results in better care.
Stronger documentation, stronger claim
Our doctors know exactly what language insurers require — mechanism of injury, specific functional limitations, clear capacity assessments. That means fewer disputes, fewer delays, and a smoother process for your patient.
Make a ReferralFaster access to treatment
Treatment requests are submitted correctly the first time. Patients aren’t waiting weeks for approval because of a missing form or an incorrectly coded request.
Make a ReferralEnd-to-end care coordination
We coordinate the entire pathway — physio, psychology, workplace rehab, legal. The patient doesn’t have to figure out who to see next or how to get insurer approval.
Make a ReferralNo cost to the patient
All services are covered under the relevant WorkCover or CTP scheme. The insurer pays our team directly under the claim — there’s no out-of-pocket cost to the patient.
Make a ReferralFour Steps. That's It.
No complex forms. No chasing. We handle everything from first contact.
Send us the referral
Email referrals@workcoverhub.com.au or use our online referral form. All we need is the patient’s name, contact details, a brief injury summary, and claim number if available.
Start a ReferralWe contact the patient
Our team reaches out to the patient directly, explains the process, and books them in with the appropriate provider. No chasing required from your end.
Start a ReferralPatient receives specialist care
The patient is assessed by a WorkCover or CTP-experienced doctor. Certificates of Capacity are completed correctly, treatment plans are set up, and allied health is coordinated.
Start a ReferralWe handle the ongoing management
Insurer correspondence, treatment approvals, Certificate renewals, return-to-work coordination — it’s all managed by our team. You’re kept informed with updates and discharge summaries.
Start a ReferralFive Scenarios Where a Referral Makes Sense
Not every WorkCover or CTP case needs to be referred. But here are the situations where it makes a real difference.
New injury with an active claim
The patient has just been injured and needs their initial assessment, Certificate of Capacity, and care pathway set up from day one.
Complex or disputed claims
The insurer is pushing back, the claim has been denied, or the case involves multiple injuries or providers.
You don’t have time for the admin
If the admin burden is taking time away from your other patients, referring is the right call.
The patient needs coordinated allied health
Physio, psychology, workplace rehab, legal support. If the patient needs more than just a GP, we coordinate the full pathway.
You’re unsure about the documentation
If you’re not confident in the Certificate of Capacity requirements or the insurer forms, we’ll take it from here.
The patient can also self-refer. If they contact us directly, we can manage their case without a formal GP referral — though we always prefer to work collaboratively with the referring practice.
“You remain the patient's GP. We only manage the claims-related care.”
Referring to WorkCover Hub doesn't mean you lose the patient. All non-injury general care stays with you. Always.
Stuck on a tricky WorkCover or CTP case?
Keeping the patient? You're welcome to pick our brains. We handle these cases every day — certificates, disputes, 130-week thresholds, psych claims, insurer pushback, WPI thresholds. Send us the situation and someone from our clinical team will come back to you.
When to ask
Certificate of Capacity oddities
The patient's capacity doesn't match what the insurer wants to see, or you're unsure how to word suitable duties.
Insurer is pushing back on treatment
Requests for treatment approvals getting delayed, denied, or rerouted to IMEs. We know the escalation paths.
130-week threshold questions
Patient approaching 2.5 years on weekly payments and you want to know what's realistically next — WPI assessment, lump sum, common law.
Psychological injury claims
Primary vs secondary psych, bullying/harassment evidence, Section 11A defences, or navigating the reformed NSW psych system.
CTP + WorkCover overlap
Injured driving for work? Two schemes apply. We can help you work out which pays for what, and in what order.
No commitment. No referral required. If we can help in 30 seconds by email, we will. If it needs a phone call, we'll offer one.
Send your question
We reply from our clinical team, not a sales inbox.
